The Rainbow Regulators are a group of Australia’s financial regulators who collaborate together to ensure consistencies in their application of the AWEI criteria. By sharing information, they create a standard and a consensus that the AWEI should be complied with.

They include:

  • The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)
  • The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
  • Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC)
  • Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA)
  • Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC), among others.

Treasury, the Australian Electoral Commission, the Australian Taxation Office and others are also involved.
