Why Expose ACON?

The ACON: Exposed project is lead by Australian feminists and gender critical activists.  ACON has used its Pride in Diversity scheme to influence the culture in Australian government and media, including the ABC and SBS. Pride in Diversity has almost 300 paid members, over 60 are Australian government agencies.Including trans-identified males in female spaces causes a conflict with women’s rights. When these agencies are developing policies and implementing laws, they turn to ACON for advice about handling transgender inclusion. This has lead to removal of women’s rights by stealth.

By replacing ‘sex’ with ‘gender identity’ and sexed language such as ‘mother’ with ‘parent’, women have lost their legal standing.

ACON’s Influence

We expose the evidence of ACON’s direct line of influence over our governmentour mediaour universities and the private sector. Women and many others are left out of ACON’s vision of ‘diversity and inclusion’.While ACON preaches diversity and inclusion, its scheme focuses on diversity only within the LGBTIQ+ rainbow. It advocates for inclusion of transgender rights without regard to balancing the rights of women in the workplace.

Women have fought a 100 year battle for workplace equity. ACON’s scheme will undo the gains of the feminist movement.

The Australian Human Rights Commissions delivered transgender inclusion guidelines that were tailored to meet ACON’s agenda. We see universities sacking hundreds of academics, and but spending funds to hire gender identity officers in line with ACON’s demands. The transgender lobby wields enormous power in Australia.ACON has influenced the Australian media (notably ABC and SBS) to avoid balance in their reporting of gender identity issues. The group Women’s Cooee to ABC have provided analysis on this topic.Women’s concerns have not been heard, and are unlikely to be heard while ACON silently wields influence over the executive arm of the Australian government.

Who is ‘ACON Exposed’?

ACON: Exposed is a loosely affiliated research group with no political links. This site is collated and managed by ordinary individuals who believe that sex matters. Many, but not all participants are left-leaning. We all believe that a woman is an adult human female with any personality.
